We’re on the cusp of Autumn—that wonderful time of year when the air feels crisp and there’s a chill on the wind. The colors change in the tree tops and the leaves get to touch the ground they grew from for the first time. Every season is full of change, but fall feels like something else. It’s a connection to harvest, the first signs of sweater weather, the time to start preparing for hibernation and darker days.

What's Your Skin Score Quiz

These are our favorite things about fall time.

I love fall because it’s the only season that has two names (Fall and Autumn!) Also, color—the foliage in autumn makes my heart feel warm. Other perks of fall are comfort food (one word, PUMPKIN) and Halloween, my favorite holiday. Fall teaches me to shed old layers and let go 🙂

I hate to play favorites with our planet but I love fall time, it’s a time of rapid change and bringing to fruition the things we’ve been working for. My most favorite thing about fall are the tangible changes in our planet—I love driving through the Northern wilderness and watching the changes every week.

I’m a big loungewear type of gal, so I get to wear all of my chunky knits and layers during the fall. I also love baking during the fall because all the warm spices and flavors linger through the house and it always smells DELICIIIIOUS. Yum.

I love making soups during the fall—especially anything with squash or pumpkin. Also, I love the holidays during this time of year (especially Halloween and Dia de los Muertos). It’s fulfilling to reflect on what I’ve done thus far in the year and evaluate any projects/personal development I would like to complete by the end of the year.

Fall <3. My favorite time of year. I can’t wait to use the fireplace and take my Husky to the park. She’s crazy in the cold weather and loves to run around off-leash. I have an endless list of things I love about this time of year but here are a few: leg warmers, mushroom soup, crockpot usage, tea tea tea, and getting together with friends to watch the Auburn game!

What isn’t my favorite thing about fall?! I absolutely love the fashion (hello boots, sweaters and leggings), the seasonal veggies (squash lasagna all day all day), the fact that the sun is still shining but the air is cooler and knowing that snowboard season is just around the corner!
For me, Fall is a time for settings new goals, reflecting on how the year has been so far and assessing how I would like to better myself personally and professionally in the year to come. And I can’t wait to dress up my baby in his first Halloween outfit!

Mmm I feel warm and cozy just thinking about the Fall! I absolutely love cuddle weather and am really looking forward to bundled up hikes, foraging for mushrooms, and enjoying an abundance of butternut squash.
