Who do you feel you are today? What event has defined your life?
I am a strong woman that has overcome many challenges. In 2013, I got food poisoning and it changed my life forever. I saw over 12 GI doctors and no one could heal me. I finally went to a Naturopathic doctor and I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis, Hypothyroidism, Adrenal Fatigue, Candida, and SIBO. I was bedridden for almost 6 months. This event defined my life because after I went through this I became a Health Coach to help other people learn about their bodies and how to keep themselves healthy. I never want any other person to go through what I did.
Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
After I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, I had to change my life drastically by what I put in and on my body. Once I started to research what is in our food today, it made me insane. I couldn’t believe that we are being sold products that are so terrible for us, but yet people don’t realize it. I am inspired every day to share my story and teach people what to eat and what to put on their body to help optimize their health!
Where and when do you feel most at peace?
I feel the most peace when I am I in nature. There is a beautiful place in Georgia called Serenbe that is serene and quiet. I ride horses, walk the labyrinth, and do nature walks. It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty to me is from the inside out. Your mind, body, and spirit define beauty. Your looks and outer appearance will always change, but your true beauty is in your soul.
What's your favorite beauty secret or tip?
Being mindful of what you are putting on your skin is the best tip. When I switched my products to all nontoxic and natural, my face completely changed. It looks better than ever with less breakouts and blackheads.
Isn’t she beautiful?
