Kate – Annmarie Skin Care In-House Esthetician: Let's, let's dive in. So let my name's Kate, if you, of course, we're just on the big consult. Well, we've hung out for a minute, but we're gonna spend the next 90 minutes talking about products, talking about our brand, really helping to provide enough information that you feel set up and supported to be able to build a routine. I've got with me Grace and Grace will probably be on for a minute or she might hop off. It depends on if more people join. We had a couple others who've RSVP'd, but we'll see. We'll see what happens if they join or do not join. A little bit about me just really quickly. I am a licensed aesthetician and have been a licensed aesthetician for about 11 years now. So I have been doing this for a while. And then I've been with Ann-Annmarie Skin Care for a little over six years now, so I feel very comfortable talking about skin and the very nuanced details of skin and talking about products and especially our products and kind of blending these two worlds together. A little bit about our brand. Annmarie Skin Care as a company has been around for 16 years now. It was 15. Obviously that's how time works, but we had a big celebration with our 15 year anniversary. And now we're coming up on the 16th. So we're we, since the beginning, we've worn the label clean. We were one of the first brands that would use the terminology clean to describe our products. It's not really a regulated term. It can be super greenwashed, and so people will use it even if it doesn't really, you know, qualify for what they, they they're doing out there.
So from the surveys that I had seen, we are gonna talk a little bit about products for more mature skin, maybe drier skin, some fine lines. It sounds like at least one of us has the herbal facial oil for normal and combo hydrate an alo herb cleanser. So we'll talk about those. Lori, since you have hopped onto this from our other call, feel free to put in the chat or to directly message me anything that feels like it would be relevant for us. Answering any questions for you or helping you feel supported. So, okay, dry, mature, sensitive, and many allergies. Very good to know. Very good to know. So, let's start to talk about products here. Now, if you've been with us for a while. You might already know this information, but I'm gonna dive into it anyway.
So when we're building a routine, we are prioritizing four products as your anchor routine. Now, you can go broader and I'm gonna recommend a lot more products than just these basic four. But your kind of skeletal routine includes your cleanser, your toning mist, your serum, and your oil. So although I'm going to be talking about scrubs and masks. Probably talk about eye products and you know, sunscreen and lots of other things. What we are wanting to prioritize as our anchor routine is the cleanser, the toning mist, the serum, and the oil. Those four. So keep that in mind, especially as you're prioritizing what feels important to you today that those four products are kind of what make up our basic routine. Now I'm gonna start at the very top. Let's start with our cleanser here. Let's start with this one, and this one might be the best fit.
This is the Aloe Herb Cleanser.

For the descriptions of the skin that I have seen here, this is probably going to be the best fit for everyone. The consistency of this one is very soft. It's got almost a lotion feel to it, but there's a higher percentage of the aloe in here, which is where you get that cleansed feel to the skin. So when we apply this, it feels very kind of even on the skin, and then we rinse it off and you've got this very balanced feel to the skin. The Allo orb cleanser is usually what we're reaching for or recommending when I'm working with someone who has dry skin, especially dry skin that is sensitive or prone to sensitivity. And also working on fading signs of aging. So the herbs that we have steeped into the Aloe Herb Cleanser here, these really help to soothe skin. It also is great for a lot of different skin types and so if you have ever tried a trial kit or you've tried, you know, a sample kit or gotten something from another, you know, when we do any partner brands, they often will have this as the giveaway just because it works with so many different skin types. So this might have been the one that you've tried. So this is of course gonna be your first step. This you kind of apply and use like a traditional cleanser. Wet your hands, wet your face. I will do anywhere from three to five pumps on the tips of my fingers and then come in and massage. Usually will come in on the neck, the chest and massage that as well. This one, it's not super imperative that you're making sure this is on the skin. Like, you know, a minute, two minutes, usually at least 30 seconds is ideal. But from there it's kind of just preference. So however long feels comfortable for you. This one is great for removing, you know, your daily makeup.
Eyeshadow and basic mascara. It's not gonna be great with waterproof mascara. I like using one of our herbal facial oils to remove heavier makeup. This is called the Herbal Facial Oil for Sensitive Skin. It is an herbal facial oil, so it is for the skin, but also great at removing any kind of tougher makeup. That's just, if you wear that most days, I don't need more than the Aloe Herb Cleanser. And when I've rinsed it off, my skin just feels very balanced, very even because of the ingredient formulation. It's not gonna leave any residue behind, so you're not gonna have any sticky, oily feel to it, but the skin is gonna feel adequately nourished. You've got this kind of even plumped up feel when you're using the Aloe Herb Cleanser here.
This one. Another option, and I'll throw it out there is the Phytonutrient Cleanser. This one, you'll notice the label's different. This is part of the Wild Alchemy collection, and with it being part of that collection, this collection as a whole tends to be pretty targeted as far as addressing signs of aging. So this product it's still very rich and creamy. None of our cleansers are going to have sulfates in 'em, so nothing is going to bubble up. So you still have this very rich feeling. So great for dry skin. It's just a little bit more activated than the Aloe Herb Cleanser for sensitive skin. So if you are listening in sensitivity, temporary redness, those are your top concerns. You're probably still gonna go at the Aloe Herb Cleanser. If your skin is just in the realm of dry working on signs of aging, this one is a little bit of a deeper penetration, a little bit of a kind of more powerhouse as far as broadly addressing signs of aging. It's got some ingredients to directly soften the appearance of fine lines. It's got some apple extract with malic acid, which is helpful for starting the process of fading the appearance of pigmentation. These kinds of broader signs of aging the Phytonutrient Cleanser can be helpful for. Both of those, you apply them with wet fingers, wet face, about 30 seconds, and then rinse it off. And then you go into your next steps. So I wanna just take a beat here and see if there are any questions about the cleanser or cleansing at all. I did have
Customer: Question. Hi, how are you? Apologies for my lateness. I just got off a client call, but with the Phytonutrient Cleanser, is that something that you would use? I don't necessarily have too many sensitivities or anything like that, but considering it gives you a deeper cleanse, would that be something to use every day? Or is the Aloe Herb Cleanser more something that you would use on a daily basis? And then maybe if you wanted a deeper, you know, a deeper type of cleanse then I would use the Phytonutrient one a couple times a week. Or maybe if I just prefer the Phytonutrient, is it still something that I would use every day?
Kate – Annmarie Skin Care In-House Esthetician: Yeah, that's a great question. So if your skin can handle it, which most normal skin types can, then every day, morning and evening is perfectly fine. And occasionally I'll work with somebody who might have more mild sensitivity to something or maybe they're prone to sensitivity more in the wintertime or something like that where they will alternate. And so they might use one in the morning and one in the evening maybe a couple nights a week. Like you said, they'll use the Phytonutrient Cleanser using the Aloe Herb Cleanser most days and letting that kind of slot in where it felt appropriate. So either way, those are both options, but it is designed to be used comfortably morning and evening. Okay. So that's that one. Yeah. Perfect. Thank you. Yes. Good question.
Okay. So after you've cleansed, and this is where we're kind of getting into, you know, more peripheral products, this is where you would exfoliate and this is where you would mask. So, because, you know, it sounds like we're wanting to keep it more simple. I'm gonna keep it high to a higher level when I talk about these products, but I do want to introduce them to you. Exfoliation wise, one of my absolute favorites is this one. This is called the Radiant C Mask & Polish, and it's a loose dry polish.

So when you shake it into a jar, it looks like this. And then you're gonna mix it with a little bit of water. You're going to mix it with a cleanser or water, you've got a lot of options. You can mix it with honey, you can mix it with the toning mist, whatever you desire, you just want something aqueous to thin that out and to give it actually the scrub consistency. But I like this one for every skin type because you can really tailor this to your needs. You can go with a little bit more grit, so less moisture to have something that is a little bit tougher.
And this is great if you are, you know, thicker, maybe oilier skin or more normal skin that can handle a deeper exfoliation. You can also stay very, very gentle. So mixing it into either another cleanser, mixing it into a larger amount of water that's gonna give you a softer polish that you're able to still use without really, really deeply disrupting the what we call the acid mantle, the surface of the skin here. And so for lots of different skin types. We've got lots of ways to use this. This also can be used as a mask. And so this can be used directly on the skin, again, with water or with another product. The toning mist is a really common one. Or another mask. This is the Illuminating Pearl mask, and I'll talk about it here in a minute, but mixing it into something else is a great way to wear this as well.

This one is specifically supportive for pigmentation as well as generally exfoliating the skin because of the ingredient makeup of this. We've got several fruits. We've got acerola cherry, hibiscus Kakadu, plum, Lingonberry, strawberry, all of these are vitamin C rich, which is part of the reason this is a dry powder because a lot of vitamin C when it hits water is when it activates. And that's a whole tangent. We could go on, but. When you're using this, you're getting a kind of very freshly activated vitamin C on the skin. So you get the buffing, you get the brightening. If you're using it as a mask, you get this nice kind of refining that happens too. So it's a pretty versatile one. This one here, radiant C Mask and Polish. There are others. I'm gonna stick with that one. After you've used that, you've either used it as a mask or a scrub, you're just gonna rinse it off. It does get really red. The product itself, when it mixes with water, it does not tint the skin. This is a cut, the question I get sometimes when people see the color of it.
So it rinses off completely clean. And then you have the option to either use a mask here or you can come into your, your kind of finishing steps. I wanna introduce two masks and then I see that there's at least one question in the chat, so I'll get to that one. The first one is this one. This is the Illuminating Pearl mask. This is my absolute favorite for glowy skin. It smells so good. Okay. Yeah, the camera. Sometimes my window makes this look really muddy, but I got good sunlight today so you can kind of see the sheen on it. One of the key ingredients in it is a crushed pearl powder. So when we're utilizing this on the skin and then we rinse it off, the skin just looks super radiant, very glowy.
The product itself is very hydrating. It's great for sensitive skin, and it's also great for fading the appearance of pigmentation. Another awesome mask option is this one. This is the Coconut Honey Mask and for more intense hydration. This is an absolute savior. It's a very thick, kind of rich feeling mask. They can kind of see it here. So when we apply it on the skin, it's providing a lot of moisture very quickly. That as the name suggests of course, to the main ingredients are coconut oil and honey. And so you get this rich, rich nourishment from the coconut oil. You'll get this really intense kind of soothing and sustaining with the honey that's in this. So the feel of it when you rinse this off is that the skin feels absolutely moisturized. You get a lot of moisture really, really quickly. This is one that I'm recommending for anyone that is finding that their skin is consistently dry, even if they've got the most stacked routine and that routine is doing fine, but it's not, they still feel dry kind of in between. Using this twice a week is just like the most perfect way to balance the skin, to get skin where you want it. In, in between, you know, when you might be kind of drying out in between. Again, especially for really dry skin types, especially for winter time. This is really common in winter time. A lot of people use the coconut honey mask. This obviously smells a lot like coconut and honey, so. Let me see a couple questions here.
I do see a question in the chat, oh, that your hands crack and bleed any good hand soap lotion. So this is a little bit intricate. And I'm gonna share the links 'cause I don't have it on my desk here. We do have a body wash that I love using as a hand wash. I think it's actually body hand in body wash. Okay, where are you? That one, it's called the Rosemary Peppermint Hand and Body Wash. Then I would go in with the Radiant Skin Silk afterwards and that is fabulous for dry hands.
Mask wise, a good rule of thumb is about once a week. You can also do more frequently with these two masks, the radiant or the illuminating pearl mask. The coconut honey mask. These ones, the way they're formulated, you could technically do every single day if that worked in your routine. But to really get the, you know, the active ingredients in the skin, we recommend at least once a week. So from there, I really leave it to you. Okay? And then you leave the mask on both of these for at least 15 minutes. But again, you kind of can, can be flexible with it because these are both very nourishing and very gentle. You could leave them on for a couple hours. I've got a couple customers who like to sleep with the Illuminating Pearl, both of them. When they kind of absorb, you've got some of the honey that's left on the surface of the skin, so they get a little bit sticky. So I don't sleep with it. I don't necessarily recommend sleeping with it, but this is just to say that you couldn't leave it on for quite a duration of time.
It's not uncommon for me to apply the coconut honey mask maybe in the morning, sit down and work for a couple hours and then rinse it off. So you've got a good amount of time, but as long as you're leaving that on anywhere between 15 and 20 minutes, you're getting the benefits of it. So from there, it's just whatever you feel like.
Okay, so that was kind of a tangent. So we did our cleansing step if we wanted to add a scrub or a mask. That's what happened. After we cleanse, now we're gonna swing back into our basic routine, and so we'll talk about toning mists here. Now we have a couple options of toning this, but I suspect for this group, this one is going to be the best fit.
This is called the Botanical Hydration Mist with Immortelle. The feel of this one is superior in the sense of the amount of moisture that's provided. So the other two options that we have are also great. We've got one called Rosemary, one called Neroli Toning Mist. They have a place and a time, but the formulation of this one starts with two hydrosols. So on the onset, it's already a richer, more moisturizing product. The hydrosols that we have in here, we have both a rose and an immortelle. Rose and immortelle are both flowers, these florals that are known for their anti-aging properties. So staving off signs of aging. They really, really, really, really make a difference in the appearance of fine lines. At least initially immortelle makes a huge difference. And then the fact that it's a hydrosol, we've got a good amount of moisture in it. On top of that, we've got four different types of chamomile in this one. And this is specifically included in this one. So we've got four different types of chamomile. We've also got frankincense in here. So the scent profile is super pretty.
It's both kind of like chamomile herbal scent as well as this really beautiful light floral scent with the immortal in the rose. This one essentially is working to soothe irritated skin. It's working to provide this burst of hydration, and then it's supporting, softening the appearance of fine lines and also working as a base for your serum. Now the application's really straightforward. You pop the top off, you've got the mister on the top, to mist the skin. I hold it, I don't know what this is, half an inch or so. Enough said that we're misting skin and skin gets dampened.
Not so much that it's dripping. That's kind of the line that I look for here. So again, botanical hydration mist. Now, a lot of people skip this step. And of course to each his own. But there are a lot of reasons that a toning mist works specifically with our routine to set you up for success with your serum and your oil. So the serums, all of our serums contain some variation of a humectant in them, and a humectant is an ingredient that pulls moisture to it in order to plump up. We typically will use a hyaluronic acid or tremella mushroom and sometimes other ingredients, those are the usual two. All of these are working to pull moisture to it in order to expand. So when we've got a toning mist on the skin, whether we've let that toning mist absorb completely, or the skin is still a little bit dampened when we come in with our serum. Skin is already primed with a good amount of moisture. So you kind of expedite this plumping process with the skin. On top of that, when you've misted the skin, you use a little bit less serum, especially our richer serums, and you can keep skin damp going into your oil and or your cream. What that does when it's applied, you know, in a kind of quick secession and everything's dampened, is everything gets pulled very deeply into the skin. You get this deep penetration facilitated by this. So yes, of course you can leave out any step that doesn't feel like it is ideal for you, and this one is actually going to be supportive, not just for the skin directly, but also for the routine for the penetration, for the function, all of that. It's a very synergistic flow when we're incorporating the toning mist. For those who specifically have reaction prone skin, this is also a quick soother, skin soother. So if you are somebody who likes, you know, reacts from food or reacts with food's a common one, exercise, that's another one. I have so many customers who keep this in their gym bag just so after a workout, they just mist their skin and help to start to soothe that skin down. So it works great in your routine. And then it also can be helpful for soothing the skin really anytime in general. And again, that's the Botanical Hydration Mist with Immortelle. Any questions about that one? I'm gonna keep going. You can still ask them, but let's get into serums. So we have a lot of serums for this group.
I'm probably only going to talk about three here.
Yeah, we'll start with three. So the first one that I wanna call out is this one. This is called the Probiotic Serum with Tremella. Now the consistency of this one is nice and thin. Lemme see if I have any, sometimes I have a little bit left.

So it's not this dark when you get it, but the consistency is very similar. You can kind of see how this is oxidized, but it'll run down the back of my head. And so I show that just to kind of show the weight of that particular serum. It's on the lighter side, still providing a fair amount of hydration. Our hydrator in the probiotic serum is tremella mushroom, but what is really supportive with this one is we utilize an olive leaf ferment and a probiotic complex. This formulation is designed to support skin that appears sensitive or reactive—especially when the skin’s natural balance feels disrupted. Whether your complexion is feeling stressed, easily irritated, or unsettled, this product works gently to bring it back to a more harmonious state. It features a probiotic complex and olive leaf ferment, which help maintain the skin’s natural microbiome. By nurturing the skin’s surface environment, these ingredients support a calm, balanced-looking complexion and promote the appearance of healthy, resilient skin.
Another great option is the Activated Hemp Serum, which is especially well-suited for skin that appears sensitive or easily unsettled. It comes in a larger bottle size and features activated raw hemp flower oil, a broad-spectrum botanical extract known for its calming and balancing properties. This formulation includes naturally occurring compounds like CBG and CBN, which work alongside the skin to help nurture and support its natural resilience. The texture is thick and rich, making it a nourishing addition to your routine—ideal for when your skin is feeling dry, depleted, or in need of extra care. Its deeply conditioning formula helps to visibly smooth and soften the skin, promoting a more even-looking and revitalized complexion.
The third product I want to highlight is our Wild Fruit Serum, one of our most-loved facial serums. This luxurious, botanical-rich formula is designed to support the look of vibrant, healthy skin. It features a unique combination of plant stem cells, including Madonna lily, known for promoting the appearance of smooth, refreshed skin. You’ll also find ubiquitous botanicals like uva ursi and Kakadu plum, which is known for being one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C. These ingredients work synergistically to visibly brighten and even the appearance of skin tone. To enhance hydration, this serum contains hyaluronic acid, which helps draw moisture into the skin’s surface, giving the complexion a plump, supple look. Rounding it out is resveratrol, a powerful plant-derived antioxidant, which helps refine the look of skin texture and support a smoother-looking complexion over time. The Wild Fruit Serum is a beautiful addition to any skin care ritual—especially if you're looking to support radiance, hydration, and visibly even skin tone. It’s one of my personal favorites!
Let me quickly highlight our Concentrated Boosting Elixirs. This is a set of three highly focused formulas that allow you to customize your skin care routine based on your evolving needs. The trio includes Hydrate, Brighten, and Revitalize. Hydrate features hyaluronic acid and peptides to help visibly smooth and deeply hydrate the skin. Brighten contains a stable, concentrated form of vitamin C that supports a radiant, even-looking complexion. Revitalize is our plant-based alternative to traditional retinol, designed to help refine the look of skin tone and texture. Each elixir is meant to be mixed into your existing serum, facial oil, or moisturizer to create a personalized ritual. Whether you’re looking to boost hydration, enhance radiance, or visibly smooth the appearance of fine lines, these boosters offer a flexible way to support your skin’s natural beauty. They're called “concentrated” for a reason—a little goes a long way, and they’re meant to complement your core skin care products for targeted results.
One of our newest launches is the Restorative Facial Cream—a product we’re incredibly excited to share.

Historically, we’ve focused primarily on facial oils (which we still love), but this cream offers something new for those who prefer a more traditional moisturizing step in their routine. Designed to combine the benefits of both serums and oils, the texture is rich yet absorbs quickly, offering lasting moisture with a soft, almost powdery finish on the skin. It features our in-house butter blend, including a small amount of shea butter and less than 2% wax, which gives it structure without feeling heavy. The formulation also includes hydrating and conditioning ingredients like oat kernel extract and horsetail, as well as apple-derived exosomes—a concentrated delivery system for plant-based ceramides that help support the skin’s natural moisture barrier. While all of our serums are uniquely beneficial, this cream is a wonderful option for those seeking a simplified routine. Used after cleansing and applying a toning mist, it can stand alone beautifully as a daily moisturizer. It also contains elements of our signature serum base, including aloe and a botanical blend that nourishes and hydrates for soft, comfortable skin.
So I wanna start with that one. But oil wise, so the reason we've offered oils is because when we're utilizing oil as a form of moisture, it's a very direct moisture for the skin. It's kind of superior, and that this gets right into the skin is and is directly supplementing the moisture level the fat content of the skin. We've got a broad array of oils that I'm gonna talk about two and then, we'll, I'm gonna talk about three. Then we'll see what questions we have. The first one I wanna call out is this one.
This is our Anti-Aging Facial Oil comes in two sizes—15ml and 30ml—and is one of our richest, most nourishing oil blends. It starts with a concentrated base of organic jojoba oil, known for its similarity to the skin’s natural oils, making it an excellent choice for those with dry or depleted skin. We craft our oils by first selecting an anchor oil—in this case, jojoba—and then infusing it with a blend of carefully chosen herbs, seeds, and florals. For this formula, we’ve steeped in ingredients like broccoli seed, chia seed, and goji berry, which are known for their nutrient-rich profiles and skin-conditioning properties. These botanicals work together to help soften and moisturize the skin while supporting a smooth, healthy-looking complexion. Among our facial oils, this one offers the most intensive hydration, making it ideal for skin that craves extra moisture. It layers beautifully under or over our Restorative Facial Cream, depending on your preference. For example, you can mix a partial pump of this oil with a pump of the cream to create a customizable moisturizing step. While this oil delivers deep nourishment, those with sensitive skin may wish to patch test or introduce it slowly, as it is a highly concentrated blend.
Another one I wanted to make sure to get into is this one. This is the Herbal Facial Oil For Normal and Combination Skin. This formulation, excuse me, I have a frog in my throat, is a little bit lighter. We start with a grape seed oil in this one, which is still very emollient and very moisturizing, but then we've steeped into these herbs that are gonna help to balance the skin. So herbs and seeds and plants that are gonna balance the oil to water. So if you are somebody that has skin that is truly combination, some areas are really dry, some areas are really oily, or maybe some are normal and, and dry or normal and oily. This can help to bring everything into a more even feel.
It's also got some anti-aging herbs that are steeped into this as well. Grapeseed and jojoba. Both are known anti-agers that keep the skin very soft and supple. But like I said, this is a little bit lighter feeling than the anti-aging facial oil.
And then the final one I do wanna mention is this one. This one I mentioned super briefly at the beginning.
This is the Herbal Facial Oil for Sensitive Skin. And the feel of this one is very rich. We still do a grape seed oil, but we've steeped into it herbs like camelia seed, sacha inchi, squalling, all of these are helping to soothe. This is the one that I mentioned that I like to use if I'm removing heavier makeup. We don't market it as that because it's a facial oil, but just a tip. If you need a product for removing makeup, that's pretty good. But as an overall facial moisturizer, this one is super, super soothing. So yeah, herbal facial oil for sensitive skin and any of these oils can be used with the Restorative Facial Cream.
This is the Anti-Aging Eye Cream, and I recommend this for everyone. Even if you aren't super concerned about the eye area because of the stem cells in this, this is also a great preventative, so this helps to stave off signs of aging as well as staffing the appearance of signs, of signs of aging. This is one that I have been using, so dedicated. I've been so dedicated for a very long time. And there's a chance that I'm older than you think. Maybe, maybe not, but I think a lot of that has to do with just how lifted this eye area still looks in my life. So I attribute it to that. For sure. And then one more product that I'll talk about and then we'll pause and see what questions I can answer.
It's this one. This is our Sun Love our mineral-based facial sunscreen formulated with non-nano zinc oxide and designed for daily wear.

It provides broad-spectrum SPF 20 protection and is crafted to apply smoothly, without the heavy or chalky residue often associated with traditional zinc sunscreens. The formula sheers out beautifully within a minute or two after application, leaving a natural-looking finish that blends well with most skin tones. Sun Love also includes nourishing botanical oils like buriti fruit and pumpkin seed, which help soften and condition the skin without feeling greasy or heavy. It has a lightweight texture that works well for various skin types—those with balanced or combination skin may even find it suitable to use on its own, while others may prefer layering it over their usual moisturizer. Designed for everyday use, Sun Love is a great way to support your skin with mineral-based sun protection that feels light, clean, and comfortable.
So let's see what questions I can answer? No questions, It kind of feels like we're complete, so I think we're gonna close it out here. If you do have more questions, definitely email customer support and you've got that coupon code.
Thank you so much and have a lovely rest of your day.
