Who do you feel you are today?

Today I can honestly say that I have reached a place in my life where I feel completely at ease in my own skin. I have embraced the wholeness and authenticity of who I am and no longer seek outside of myself for validation. I own myself and claim my own power and the value I bring to the world.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

I became so inspired when I discovered the missing link to creating vibrant health in my own life. I expanded my horizons and realized that although food was an integral component in my healing, reviving the vibrancy of my own life force energy of Chi within was the key element. I had never thought of my body as a pure energy vibration. I understood that I had created a depletion of this vital energy in my own body which resulted in feeling lackluster at times and even drained and tired. I learned specifically how to focus on the circulation of this amazing life force energy that resides within the seven energy centers known as Chakras in my own body. I learned that the seventh crown chakra at the top of my head was a vital pathway for Chi Energy to flow into my body. I realized that we actually become vulnerable to health challenges when our internal energy is blocked and stagnant. I began to incorporate a variety of wonderful tools and techniques into my lifestyle. Some of those include: meditation, spiritual practices, nature walks, sun gazing, super herbs , salt water baths and Qi Gong and Body Pyramid exercises.
In addition to understanding how this translated into creating health within my body, my eyes were opened to how our environment impacts our health and life goals. I began to understand that this vital life force or Chi Energy also flows throughout our surroundings. I began to delve into the study of Feng Shui Design to activate dramatic shifts in the energies in our own physical spaces and consequently in my own life. I began to activate the forces of nature to bring the rhythms of nature into our home. I was fascinated with the concept that each of the five elements of earth, water, fire, wood and metal have a unique rhythm that is essential to the balance of life. The more our own living space was a reflection of nature the more I began to flourish in my own life. I have always loved the quote from Goethe, “if nature is your teacher, your soul will awaken.”

Where and when do you feel most at peace?

I feel most at peace when I am in meditation calling forth my higher self and I AM presence. When I call up my soul or inner spiritual essence and consciousness in union with the Divine, I align with universal energy. I freely let go of all limiting thoughts and immerse myself in the vibration of love, acceptance of self and others, gratitude, surrender and trust in the process of life. I now listen to the voice of my soul. When I create this state of consciousness in my meditation I experience oneness with all that is and a deep sense of peace and joy that extends into my everyday life.

What are your words of wisdom to other beauties out there?

Spending time outdoors and being in nature realigns my own energy centers or chakras with the natural rhythms of the earth. Being in natural sunlight, fresh air and natural surroundings shifts my entire autonomic nervous system creating feelings of groundedness, inner calm and increased inner energy. I have made it a point to walk or meditate in nature to allow the cells in my body to absorb natural energies of the natural terrain or the sea. I have discovered that it is essential to spend time outdoors to balance the amount of time we spend indoors on our lap tops. Spending time in nature renews my energy field and cleanses and purifies my body from environmental stress caused by the electromagnetic radiation I am inevitably exposed to.
