WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING TO WORK EVERYDAY?:

Where to begin? It’s easy to come into work when you love the people you work with and really believe in the product. ASC has such a clearly articulated mission and value system beyond just selling skin care that really resonates with me. Everyone here is so open, thoughtful and supportive. Also, the snacks.

WHat's your favorite Annmarie Gianni Skin Care routine?

Washing my face with the Citrus Mint Cleanser has seriously changed my skin. It’s helped clear up areas that have broken out for years. I follow up with Neroli Toning Mist, Wild Fruit Serum and the Herbal Facial Oil for Oily Skin. I also use the Mud Mask as dry shampoo everyday!

WHat's your favorite way to re-charge?

Arts + crafts! Weaving, sewing, or drawing. Also yoga, or just good ol’ stretching.

WHat's your favorite food?

My favorite food item of all time is the vegan sweet potato quesadilla with cashew creama and pepitas from Gracias Madre.

Tell us something about yourself that we wouldn’t otherwise know.

I have a side gig selling woven pieces and hand embroidery!

Name one thing on your bucket list.

I would LOVE to hike the PCT… or at least part of it. I have a *lot* of training before I get even close to being able to do that though.

What makes your heart smile?

DOGS

What do you love about working with ASC?

Aside from the humans I work with, I love our physical work environment so much. Its so calming and I love having plants to take care of at work.

If you were an essential blend, what would it be and why?

Oooh something woodsy but with floral notes, maybe Palo Santo, sandalwood, ylang ylang and lavender.

What's your favorite book?

I love reading, so this is hard. I love essay collections (anything by David Sedaris!) but I also read a lot about meditation and mindfulness, and I love Wherever You Go There You Are. Also, I carry a book of Mary Oliver poems with me at all times.

What color would you make the sky if it wasn't blue anymore?

Mustard yellow

What was the most interesting trip you have ever taken?

Roadtripped down to Salvation Mountain and Slab City! It’s a strange place—Salvation Mountain is the largest display of folk art in the US and Slab City is a squatter camp known as the ‘last free place on earth.’
